Create Proxy Workflow

Workflows can be created to generate proxies for assets that did not have proxies generated during ingest. This applies to the following scenarios:

1. Assets ingested using the Instant Asset Ingest Profile
2. Assets with corrupted proxies
3. Assets ingested without a preview
   

In the Super Admin interface, create a new workflow.

You can trigger the "Recreate Proxy" workflow using the various event types outlined below.

Currently, I am explaining how to configure the Button Metadata Click as the event type to trigger the 'Recreate Proxy' workflow.

To configure this, select the Button Metadata you created for this task, and then choose the appropriate field, operator, and value accordingly.

We choose the condition to check if the asset is a video; the workflow will execute after the button click.

Now, select the action type, choose Create Proxy, and click the Add option.

Now, select the storage profile and the associated ingest profile.

Please note that to create a proxy for assets in another storage profile, you need to create a separate workflow for each one.
