How to add Java security exception for Feeder?

eMAM Feeder is using code signing to follow the industry standard. If we are hitting any issues with the certificate it can take 3 to 5 days to get a new certificate from the Vendor. In order to tackle this until we get the new license, customers can follow the below steps.
 
1. When you open eFeeder you will be seeing an error pop up like below.
 
          

2. This is a precaution by Java. Now, we have to configure the exception. Please follow the below steps to do it in Windows.
    
            a. Click on start and search for Configure Java and open it.
            b. Then take the security tab -> Edit Site List
 
            
            
            c. From the pop up click on the Add button.
 
            
            
            d. Here you can give the IP/DNS of your web server which you used to access eMAM director.
                For an example, 
                if you are using http://emam.sportstv.com/emamdirector then you can give
                the exception like  http://emam.sportstv.com
 
                if you are using https://emam.sportstv.com/emamdirector then you can give
                the exception like  https://emam.sportstv.com
 
                if you are using http://10.0.8.333/emamdirector then you can give
                the exception like  http://10.0.8.333
             
            e. Once you enter the URL click on Add. You will be getting a pop up, please click on Continue.
                Then click OK and OK
 
                
 
         f. Now you can relaunch eFeeder. When you open that you will be getting a pop up, you can can
             tick the check box and click on Run.You have to tick the check box each time you are opening the eFeeder.
 
            
            
            We are good now!
 
3. Follow the below steps for MAC,
        a. Click on system preferences from the Apple icon.From there click on Java

           
            
      b. Then take the security tab -> Edit Site List
 
           
 
     c. From the pop up click on the Add button.
 
        
 
            d. Here you can give the IP/DNS of your web server which you used to access eMAM director. 
                For an example, 
                if you are using http://emam.sportstv.com/emamdirector then you can give
                the exception like  http://emam.sportstv.com
                if you are using https://emam.sportstv.com/emamdirector then you can give
                the exception like  https://emam.sportstv.com
                if you are using http://10.0.8.333/emamdirector then you can give
                the exception like  http://10.0.8.333
 
     e. Once you enter the URL click on Add. You will be getting a pop up, please click on Continue.
         Then click OK and OK
 
            
 
          f. Now you can relaunch eFeeder. When you open that you will be getting a pop up, you can can
             tick the check box and click on Run. You have to tick the check box each time you are opening the eFeeder.
 
        
            
 
             We are good now!
