How to check whether barcode labels are populating?

To check whether barcode labels are populating, the Update asset location option is employed.

 1. Go to the Info tab of the Metadata widget and find the value of the Asset Status to see the Tape barcode label.

      

2. Choose the List view for the Browse widget and select the assets (archived) to check. 

 3. Click on the operations list icon and choose Update asset location.

      

     

      Update asset location feature is also available at category and project levels.
      Status check jobs will be created and can be monitored from the Archive dashboard.

    4. Check the eMAM Archive Manager logs and verify that there are no errors.

    This way we can retrieve the tape barcode labels of archived assets.
