How to Install/Uninstall Electron Feeder in Windows/Mac

Please note that if we are currently using the Java feeder and updating eMAM to 5.2 or the latest versions by updating patches, then the Java feeder will automatically update to the new electron Feeder.

Install eFeeder

You can download and install eFeeder on your machine from eMAM Director>My Account>Apps page by following the steps below.
1. Login to the eMAM Director interface. Click on Settings green radial button and then click on My Account.



2. On the My Account page, on the left-hand side, click on the Apps tab to access the apps available for download.



Windows


Download will start once you select your Operating system.



 
Run the eFeeder_Win.msi file downloaded on your machine. In the eFeeder Wizard setup window, click on Next to start the installation.



The eFeeder installation will complete in few seconds.



Click to  finish the installation.



You can see the eFeeder shortcut on your desktop as below once it installed successfully in your machine.



Need to register the eFeeder as below before using it, you can follow the 
Go to the eMAM Director interface, Settings>My Account>Apps>eFeeder> Register
Note: eFeeder needs to be registered before using it.



Click on Open eFeeder.



 eFeeder app opens up (as shown below).



Mac


Click on the MAC button to download the .dmg file as below.




Click on the downloaded .dmg file to open and drag the eFeeder icon to the Applications folder.



Once the installation is completed, Register the eFeeder as below,

Go to the eMAM Director interface, Settings>My Account>Apps>eFeeder> Register. Click on Register button to register the eFeeder before using it.



Click on 'Open eFeeder'



Click on Open eFeeder  and  eFeeder app opens up (as shown below).



Uninstall eFeeder (Windows) 

Open the control panel and go to Programs and Features, find eFeeder application there and click on uninstall after selecting it as below.

 

Mac
1. Go to finder > applications and find eFeeder.
2. Right click on eFeeder to see the options and click on move to trash. And the eFeeder should be uninstalled from the machine.



Note: After uninstalling eFeeder, and encountering any issue with re-install please go to the below location and clear the cache folder. Afterwards, try installing the eFeeder as mentioned above.
          Windows: C:\Users\User account\AppData\Roaming
          Mac: ~/Library/Application Support/eFeeder
