How to update metadata for bulk assets in eMAM?
You have multiple options to update metadata of bulk assets in eMAM:
1. Project widget: All the assets under a project can be updated
using Update asset metadata.
Using this option, users can now update bulk metadata for assets under a project.
a. Click on the project options and select ‘Update asset metadata’.b. Users can update Author and Metadata Set fields. Now based on the selected metadata set, enable the checkbox and fill the information in the metadata fields and click ‘Save’.
2. Category widget: Users can update bulk metadata for all assets in a category using ‘Update asset Metadata’ option.
a. To update metadata of all assets under a category, click on category options and select Update asset metadata.
Enter the author name or select a Metadata Set, enable the checkboxes and fill in the custom metadata field values. Click on Save.
3. Bulk metadata Import: eMAM users can easily upload metadata for bulk assets using “Metadata Import” feature in the Browse widget. For more details, refer Import bulk metadata to assets in eMAM
