Is it possible to ingest directly to any particular category?
Yes, you can ingest directly to any particular category using below methods:
- Ingest Widget: In the Uploader tab, either drag and drop assets or use Add Files button to add the files for upload. In the Asset metadata
window, choose the desired category for ingest. Choose multiple
categories if you wish to ingest assets to multiple categories.After
upload all the files will be directly moved to the selected category.
- Browse widget: In the Browse
widget, choose category filter to display all the categories and assets
under each categories. Choose files from you machine and drag and drop
to the desired category.
Asset metadata window opens up and the same category is auto selected under the categories tab.
