What are markers and how do we add them in video/audio files?

Markers indicate a significant event/point in a video or audio file so that the occurrence can be accessed quickly in the future.

To add a marker to a video/audio files::

a. From the widget holder, drag and drop the Marker widget to the eMAM Director workspace.

b. Click on the video/audio file displayed in the Browse widget to see its preview in the Preview widget.

c. Play the video/audio and when you reach the point you wish to mark, click on the marker symbol on the player.  

d. A red arrow symbol is displayed on the marked point and corresponding timestamps are displayed in the Marker widget.

e. Enter marker name and set it as private/public.

f. Click on Save to save the marker.
