What is an eMAM S3 connector ? What does it do?
eMAM S3 Connector is nothing but cloud connector
A cloud connector lets users view, operate and transfer their computing resources between private cloud environment and public clouds. eMAM has purchased storage space in Amazon cloud to store the low resolution files/high resolution files.
eMAM S3 Connector is a multi threaded windows service running in the background to upload the low-resolution and high-resolution files to respective Amazon cloud storage buckets based on the configurations set in the eMAM Director.
When an asset is ingested to the eMAM system, low resolution file of that particular asset is created. If the cloud has been configured by eMAM Super Administrator, a copy of the low resolution file and the high resolution file is moved to the cloud.
