A user cannot exist alone in the eMAM 
system.Users are organized in groups, and must belong to one or more 
User groups. User Groups are created to manage users collectively. eMAM 
Unit Administrator assigns different access permissions to different 
User groups. User groups are associated with attributes like permission,
 category, asset type, users and metadata group.
For example, 
eMAM Unit Administrator can create two groups, one with download 
permission and other without download permission, and users can then be 
assigned to these groups.
Note: A User Group can be 
deleted only if there are no users associated with it. Before deleting a
 User group, remove or un-assign all the users from that group.
