A user cannot exist alone in the eMAM
system.Users are organized in groups, and must belong to one or more
User groups. User Groups are created to manage users collectively. eMAM
Unit Administrator assigns different access permissions to different
User groups. User groups are associated with attributes like permission,
category, asset type, users and metadata group.
For example,
eMAM Unit Administrator can create two groups, one with download
permission and other without download permission, and users can then be
assigned to these groups.
Note: A User Group can be
deleted only if there are no users associated with it. Before deleting a
User group, remove or un-assign all the users from that group.
