Alerts mainly point towards the changes that are made in eMAM System like Ingest, Purge, archive and restore.

eMAM Admin:When any functionality is used on assets, it activates alert option. For example: if user ingests an asset to the eMAM system, and clicks on refresh icon, ‘No Alert’ changes to  “New Alert” . When user clicks on it, full message is displayed. New alert is activated only once the ongoing process is completed, and user clicks on the refresh icon of alert message. The status of ingest, delivery and archive can be tracked in the dashboard. 
For eg: once an asset has been ingested successfully if you refresh the alert tab you will get the alert stating “123asset” ingested successfully.
